Vision trip!!!
Yesterday morning my team as well as another team left Hong Kong for Phnom Penh, Cambodia at 8:55 a.m. We got here at 10:30 a.m. and were taking to the place were gonna be staying. After we dropped off our clothes we went to lunch at this awesome Khmer restaurant where we took off our shoes at the door and got to sit on the floor for lunch, after that we had a little meeting talking about what's gonna go down over the next week then we went to a museum where the Pol Pot regime had done many acts of torture and terrible things to many Cambodian's. After the museum we went to a russian market and did some bartering with a few of our new university friends!!!! We next went down to the river and walked to an awesome indian restaurant while walking there we saw tons of statues and monuments of different kinds as well as many different groups of Khmer people doing work out dancing together at the park.

Last week of Teaching!!!
I have three more days of class left. It's pretty crazy to think that it has already been almost a month since I got here. Monday and Tuesday this week were both great. Monday we talked about technology and in the afternoon we talked about easter, and I got to be "Jesus" and tell parables to the kids.Last night a lot of the teachers here went to Ruby Tuesday's in Kowloon Bay and had a great time, then when we got back had an awesome worship session on the balcony. Today was pretty awesome to class in the morning was pretty crazy but I love my class so many different personalities that way the class room is never boring. Then in the afternoon I got to head up talking about prom with all the kids in the big room. So we taught them a few dances sadly swing dancing wasn't taught because the speakers wouldn't work the right way for it, but it was fun to see 180 kids from Hong Kong doing the Macarena and the electric slide. Turns out dancing is definitely multi cultural after all its great!!!!!!!!! After school today I went with a few other teachers to an awesome Japanese dessert place, got Chopped Ice Cream, and went to IKEA in Sha Tin. It's been a great couple of days.

Still amazed after two weeks!!!
Today I finished up my second week teaching over here and only have one week left. It has flown by. Over the past week I have been to a lot of different places in Hong Kong like Mong Kok(a crazy outdoor shopping center) and TST(Which has a bunch of different things and is for real down town plus has an amazing view of Hong Kong Island at night). It's pretty crazy when ever we travel cause there are so many people here but the MTR is so much fun because as my team mate Kevin says, "were in Hong Kong and no body cares what you do."
School has been great this week had a lot of different things going on with different skits we do in the afternoon and how my students are opening up cause were finally pretty much past the awkward stage of just getting to know each other that we had during the first week. My class is so much fun have a good variety of different personalities and its pretty much even between boys and girls. It's great when they ask me questions or such about America and about my life, it lets me open up to them. On wednesday some leaders from the school took us to a Real China Buffet. Had tons of food that day. Really enjoying it here love seeing how God loves me and others and how he wants to use all of us to show it. He is so good.

First Day Teaching!!

So yesterday was my first day of teaching. It went great they were kinda quiet at first but by the end of the day they were very talkative. Over the past two days of work God has really showed me patience because neither day has gone as planned, but it always ends up great. The last few days I have really been thinking about the song, The More I Seek You, and how true the lyrics are. The more I search the word and the Lord the more AMAZING things I find out about Him. He has taught me to persevere and not slack on time with him but seek him more. The more I push into him the more he shows me.
All is well with everything else feeling fine not sick so far love my team more each day really great joy in all of us. Hong Kong is a big city so public transport is the best we traveled an hour to get to Kevin's(a team member) church out here. Then went and tried a lot of different Chinese foods I liked a few of them haha. oh, and McDonalds Delivers here. after that we went to an outdoor shopping plaza and did some bartering. I wonder if every country other than america has these just to get american's money, it's a great strategy!!!
We'll I gotta get ready for school today we only have a half day session in the afternoon so i got to sleep in. we'll see how today goes I know Jesus will work today.

All this training will pay off!!!
Hey everyone!!! the past week has been crazy!!!! I left my house at 4 a.m. on Friday and after two 2hr flights, a 13hr flight, an hour bus ride, a 45 min ferry ride, and then a 20 minute walk up a hill and 32 hours later I finally reached my bed for the night. We are exactly twelve hours ahead of Florida so you would think i would sleep well, but the cradle sized bed didn't work out for me that night because i wasn't very tired seeing as it was around noon....but don't worry i slept well every other night because we have been kept busy every day with different training for teaching, culture, and team building. The island we lived on was beautiful and was also nice and warm just like home woohoo!!! Food has been good and rice has become an EVERY MEAL essential. Lets just say I was very grateful to Have some McDonalds at the bottom of the island before going back to Hong Kong today. Today we came back to the big city and had a few hours to rest in our dorms before going to another meeting, after that my team went to the biggest mall I have ever seen it was either 5 or 6 stories tall. Tomorrow were going to the school we will be teaching at for the next 3 weeks to meet officials. I'm pretty excited about it and I love that I have met so many on fire people for Jesus who love his children, He is really working, I'm so excited to see what he will be doing since he has already done so much!!!

The Bachelorette
Over the past couple of weeks Blake, my mom, and I have begun to watch the bachelorette. It is interesting that we decided to start watching now because it is the sixth season, but I am glad I did. It have become one of my favorite shows because the sappy and cheesy love stories give me the opportunity to see what every man wishes he could have for himself (the chance at falling in love on tv while thousands of people laugh and hope for the perfect guy to win Ali's heart). I don't care if your a guy or not the show always has a strange new thing that happens every week and the anticipation at the end of the night during the rose ceremony is fantastic, it will not let you down. So watch it, and Craig will be missed.
